- Ponemos la leche junto con las cáscaras, la rama de canela y el sirope a cocer en un cazo.
- Cuando rompa a hervir la retiramos del fuego y dejamos que se aromatice 10 minutos tapada.
- Corta el pan en rodajas de unos 2 cm u medio. Es importante que sea del día anterior para que luego no se rompa.
- Coloca las rodajas en un recipiente y si es necesario en 2 para que no quede ninguna debajo de la otra.
- Cuando la leche este templada cuela las cáscaras y la canela y viértela sobre el pan en el recipiente.
- Ahora deja que el pan absorba toda la leche.
- Precalienta el horno a 220° en función grill. También se pueden hacer a la plancha en la sartén y quedan genial. Es posible que esta opción sea mejor si has hecho el pan en casa con harina de trigo integral. A esta le cuesta más dorarse en el horno y al tener que dejarlas más tiempo se secaran más, por lo que en este caso, yo probaria en la sartén
- Bate los huevos.
- Baña cada rebanada completamente en el huevo y luego ve colocándolas separadas unas de otras sobre papel de hornear en la bandeja de horno.
- Hornea 10 minutos o hasta que estén doradas o si has elegido la opción de sartén a la plancha, igual hasta que se doren
- Déjalas atemperar y luego añade la canela y la miel al gusto. Y ahora sí, a disfrutar!
